My husband and I were fortunate enough to spend the night at this amazing hotel in the Bowes-Lyon suite. The new owners Michael and Jo made our stay memorable with some lovely finishing touches such as homemade lemon drizzle cake, which had been placed in a glass Bon Bon jar in our room whilst we were out….

This was devoured upon our return with a complimentary hot chocolate and there were mini chocolate Easter eggs on our breakfast table and freshly cut flowers which all made for a delightful stay.

The best breakfast we’ve had for a long time was freshly cooked to order.
Service was a family affair and everyone we met during our stay was welcoming, helpful and polite.
